Bahá'í Scripture "The source of
all learning is the knowledge of God, exalted be His Glory, and this cannot
be attained save through the knowledge of His Divine
Manifestation." |
The main theme of the Bahá'í Faith is
unity, and that there is only one God, that all the world's religions
represent one changeless and eternal Faith of God, and that all humanity
is one race, destined to live in peace and harmony. If you would
like to know more about the basic principles of the Bahá'í Faith, click
on The Bahá'í Faith. In just over 150 years, the Bahá'í Faith
has grown to become one of the fastest growing religions in the world
establishing itself in 233 countries and dependent territories worldwide.
Embracing people from more than 2100 ethnic, racial and tribal groups,
the Bahá'í community comes from virtually every nationality, religious
background, ethnic group and social class. If you would like
to request more information on the Bahá'í Faith, please email edmond@edmondbahai.org or visit
the center at 321 E. Campbell, just west of University of Oklahoma clock
tower. To contact the Edmond Bahá'í Center, please call (405) 348-9992 or go
to the Contact page for more information on
contacting Bahá'ís in Oklahoma or to join an on-going study circle. Study circles are
regular gatherings of people interested in an in-depth and systematic study
of the Bahá'í Writings. The purpose of this study is to gain a deeper
understanding of the Holy Word, to comprehend its meanings and to find ways
to apply the Word to our lives through spiritual transformation and service
to humanity. For a tour of the
center, an overview of the Bahá'í Faith, to attend a devotional gathering or
a children’s virtue class, consult the on-line calendar
